Trinity Arts Experience

Please note: scholarships are only available for current high school seniors and transfer students.
- Students who participate in the Art & Design TAE are eligible to submit a link to an online portfolio (e.g., Google Slides, PowerPoint, Keynote, etc.) featuring 8-10 works in at least two separate media (e.g., painting, drawing, digital illustration, photography, etc.). Submissions can be sent to Ryan Thompson at Ryan.Thompson@trnty.edu where they will be reviewed by the Art & Design faculty for scholarship awards.
- Students should prepare two solo pieces of music in a classical, jazz, musical theatre, or Gospel style. For additional details and to submit your audition, visit: https://www.trnty.edu/music-auditions/. Open to students of any academic major. Priority audition deadline for scholarships is December 1.
- Scholarship recipients are required to participate in a music ensemble each semester at Trinity. For more information about Trinity’s music ensembles, visit: https://www.trnty.edu/academics/music-ensembles/.
ACTORS
1. At Trinity Arts Experience, perform two contrasting (dissimilar from one another in terms of time period and/or theatrical genre) monologues from published dramatic works. Plan to introduce your pieces with the name of the show, the name(s) of the playwright(s), and the name of your character. Combined, your monologues should be at least 90 seconds in length and no longer than five minutes.
2. If you are unable to attend Trinity Arts Experience but would still like to apply for scholarship, please submit a video recording of yourself performing monologues according to the guidelines laid out above. You must email your submission to the Theatre Program theatre@trnty.edu to be considered for scholarship.
TECHNICIANS / DESIGNERS
1. At Trinity Arts Experience, present a portfolio (material or digital) which contains images images, artifacts, or descriptions of your production work. Your portfolio should include 8-12 images, and you should plan to speak about your choices and experiences.
2. If you are unable to attend Trinity Arts Experience but would still like to apply for scholarship. please submit a digital portfolio according to the guidelines laid out above. You must email your submission to the Theatre Program at theatre@trnty.edu to be considered for scholarship.
